How many bags are in each package?
Each package has 5 DumpSac® brand bags inside a reusable, resealable, recyclable bag for $6 +USA ground shipping and applicable sales tax. Stock up by ordering the bundle of 4 packages for $24 +USA ground shipping and applicable sales tax. Shipping and sales tax will calculate during the order process. Packages will be shipped via lowest cost USPS shipping.
How long will it take to receive my order?
All orders will be sent as quickly as possible once we receive your order; most orders should arrive within 10 days depending on your address and order date. Due to high demand, your DumpSac® order may be temporarily out of stock. If this occurs, we will email you directly to advise an updated delivery date. Amazon Prime account customer? How many times can you use a Dumpsac®?
This totally depends on your tolerance for dealing with dust. We often use one Dumpsac® to empty the vacuum canister 2-3 times and then seal it closed before putting it in the trash. Someone who needs minimal exposure to dust may want to use a new one each time.
Are Dumpsac bags recyclable, biodegradable or compostable?
Currently, we are proud that Dumpsac® bags are made of clear, 50% recycled LDPE plastic material and are printed using water based inks. As our volume grows, we have plan to increase our environmentally sustainable material options. Your suggestions are welcome to help us in our quest to support sustainable solutions.
What is the adhesive strip on the outside/shorter side of the bag opening used for?
This strip allows a 360° seal. After the bag/elastic is stretched over the canister lid, turn the shorter, opening side strip to the inside, removing-sticking exposed adhesive to the canister as it is removed; is for the user who really needs to seal in as much dust as possible during the transfer process. Neither adhesive strip has to be secured to the canister to transfer the canister contents. The adhesive strips help to hold the bag to the canister while pulling the bag over the drop lid and helps to minimize dust escaping during the transfer, but it is a personal preference to use or not. We applied a small 3M® removable hook to our canister to ‘hook’ the elastic to to hold while stretching the elastic over the canister lid and primarily use the adhesive on the flap side to wrap over the bag-elastic opening to ‘lock’ the yuck in the bag before trashing.
